Well Made; Good Features
I wanted to buy a pair of running shorts that had a both a zippered key pocket and regular pockets for the (inevitable) times when I wore these as regular shorts for running errands, etc. These fit the bill. The zippered key pocket sewn into the large side pockets fits my "keyless entry" car key perfectly. The shorts are comfortable to run in and a good length (fall about 1.5 inches above my knee).

Great Shorts
I bought two pairs of these right in the middle of training for a half-marathon. Besides a minor sewing mistake (the ring pocket on one of the pairs was sewn into the waistband, making it unusable), these shorts performed beyond my expectations. I am an intermediate runner -- running about 12-16 miles per week -- and I had some issues with chafing before purchasing these. Without going into detail, I've always had to wear relatively tight-fitting briefs under my shorts to prevent everything from moving around too much. The idea of wearing boxers mortified me. Much to my surprise, the built-in liner is so good in these shorts, I run without underwear. They are fantastic. I ran my half-marathon plus about 250 miles wearing only these shorts, and I love them. They don't hold sweat, are extremely lightweight, just the right length, and the material is dark enough so as to not be remotely see-through. Overall, a great buy and I would definitely purchase them again.

Light weight and comfortable
I didn't even know Brooks was still in business. The shorts are great for running or bicycling, Very lightweight and comfortable. They don't cling and seem like they will hold up for the long term. The zipper pocket inside the right pocket is very useful albeit small.

Brooks Sherpa Shorts
As an avid Ultrarunner i can attest to the fact that as the name implys ,these shorts go on and on . Comfy ,no chafe ( At least for 1000 miles ) then there's lube .Nice liner ,small side pocket either side on hip will hold a gel or two . Super light ,great for training or racing . good shorts, weak pockets
these are good, light shorts. very cool and comfortable. they're also pretty short. not a huge deal, but it's just not my style. my main gripe with them is pretty ineffective pockets. they're just big enough to cram in a gu or two. too small for shot bloks. and there's enough open space beside the velcro on the pockets for a key to fall out.

I like 'em
These were good shorts for me. I used them for the 2010 Chicago Marathon. I crammed 2 PowerGels in each pocket for the race. The pockets are in a good location so the gels didn't jostle around when running. But the pockets are not good for much else and I certainly wouldn't use it to hold a key or ID. I also really like the material. When they were soaked they didn't cling to my legs. They are pretty short, but I wear compressions underneath so not a big deal at all.

Great running shorts
It's comfortable, light weight and looks good. I love the internal boxer briefs, very comfortable. Two side pockets are very usable.Bought this in a store, but the pair I got was defective and had a hole in one of the pockets. In spite of this, I enjoyed wearing them so much that I decided to try again and bought a pair on amazon, which was fine. They're now the favorite running shorts in my closet...

Good running shorts
I like these shorts. A 5" inseam is the perfect length for my tastes (right around mid thigh). Well made, dry fast, inner supportive liner (not too tight nor too loose)and with 2 pockets - an internal fold-over type pocket (no zipper and inside the shorts) and 1 back-pocket type zippered pocket. Good shorts.

Great wicking ability
I purchased these with the hopes that the fit and comfort level was that of an older pair that I purchased over 5 years ago. Upon arrival of the product I took them out for a run. I'm glad that I made the purchase. I have a problem with most of the other shorts, Nike, BCG, etc. with the liner on the inside being to tight and ridding up and causing discomfort. These Brooks brand shorts don't seem to bother me as bad. I've logged about 72 miles in these so far and no problems. They have good wicking ability and are not to short nor to long. I would definately purchase them again. They also are true to size, unlike the matching shirt which fits verrrrrrrrrrry small.

Comfortable and quick drying
I've recently took up running a few months ago (finished my first 5k in July) and wanted to get some running specific shorts. Previously, I had been wearing basketball style shorts (Adidas and Nike) that goes down past my knees. I also didn't like the feel of my underwear getting soaked during long runs.These shorts fit the bill. The length is perfect (I wear a large and am 5'10"); not too long, not too short. I goes about two inches above my knee cap. The material is quick-drying, very light, and "moves" well. The built in brief was a bit of an adjustment (I'm used to wearing boxer briefs) but after a few miles, I grew accustomed to them and felt a lot more comfortable at the end of the run.My only complaint is that I wish there were some front pockets. There is a back pocket with a zipper but I'd do like having the side pockets. Overall, a very good pair of running shorts.

light weight and comfortable
These shorts were bought to play soccer in, however they are definitely in the running short length. The liner is soft, its not that weird mesh stuff I've seen in other running shorts. The waist band has a tie that sits up against the skin, so if your doing long distances it probably wouldn't work out too well. (You could always just take it out.) The elastic is strong enough to keep them up alone. They tend to swing out from the leg at the bottom on the sides, not so much that I feel weird, but enough to know I have room to stretch out my legs if I need to sprint.I would definitely buy them again.

Fabulous!
I just ran a half marathon in these shorts! They worked out great, I just wish they had (like ALL running shorts ever) bigger pockets for "Gu"! I'm 5'7 and 115 lbs, 36" hips and 24" waist. The XS fit PERFECTLY. They're very comfy and never once bothered me.

Brooks Women's Epiphany Stretch II Shorts
VERY comfy. I'm 175cm weighing 69kg & got medium - I wouldn't want them any smaller, but nice with the stretch. I think large may be too big, I don't know. Inner liner comfy. Would have given 5 stars but there is a slit up the side front seams which makes the front panel kick out or fold up a bit (near the logo) BUT I think this may be because the medium is just a tad small on me. Great running short, small pocket inside front.
