Best workout shorts!
I love these shorts. I originally found them hidden on a rack in the local Sporting Goods store (Dick's?); I since purchased 2-3 more pairs. They are incredibly supportive and comfortable - can be used for running, weight training, light/indoor cycling (no pad), etc. Whether or not they (as some research suggests) actually improve performance, they definitely make you FEEL stronger - which is just as important.

Wow!
Wow! How else to describe them. I purchased a pair at the 2010 Burlington Marathon expo and took them out for a test run. Simply amazing. Perfect compression and comfortable feel. I've run +/- 20 marathons and have long seen people running in either these shorts or pants and figured it was just hype. Was I wrong. After my initial run I came back and ordered a few more pair. Honestly, it made my usual pace effortless and cranked up the speed. Read the reviews regarding the stitching....they seem well constructed - time will tell. The shorts are around $75 - so they're not cheap. But the comfort you will feel while running is simply wow.

Helped my knees
I was having trouble with my knees. Kind of general soreness when I ran. I worked very hard on exercises, got a pateler tendon strap for each knee, and bought these shorts. I have been virtually pain free for over a year. I can't say for sure how much these shorts contributed to my comeback but I wear them every time I run.One criticism is that the seem on the inside of the thigh tends to split too easily. I took my shorts to a seamstress and had the stitching reinforced and that helped a lot.

Running Shorts
I've worn the short two times and it felt really good during and after the 8 mile run. I plan to increase the run to 10-12 miles and hopefully it gives me the same results.

Great shorts but not durable
These were great shorts while they lasted. Good comfort and support. However after ~3 months of running 2-4 miles, 2-3x a week, the stitching has frayed in several spots in the inner thigh area leaving extra "ventilation". Disappointing considering the cost. Was never put in the dryer.

Good But Pricey
These Asics compression shorts are very good, they do exactly what they are designed for - hold everything where it belongs and prevent chaffing of my legs. They are a little on the expensive side compared to other brands.I'm not very particular about compression shorts. I bought five different pairs of shorts just to see if there was a difference. My conclusion, buy based on price. Of the shorts I tried, none of them stood out as significantly better or worse than the others. McDavid is my first choice, they are the least expensive of the group. Champion came in a close second, they were the next least expensive.I tried two different models of McDavid (the least expensive and my preference based on price only), Asics, Champion, and these Under Armour shorts....

Good enough
I bought these compression shorts to run and go to the gym in. They are pretty good but the sizing is different for these then other compression shorts. I wish I would have checked the asics website to see their measurements for s, m, and etc. If I would have done that I would not have run into this problem, which is advice for anytime you buy stuff online check the measurements from that company because each company might fit differently. Overall I am still happy with them.

You get what you pay for (a good thing this time)
I have purchased many different brands of compressions shorts, mainly Target and Wal-Mart brands, which tend to rip easily and quality can vary on identical items on the same rack. ASICS is well-known and established company so they know how to do things right, every time. If you need compression shorts, get these. Average length, breathable.

Great shorts.
I do a lot of recreational running & cycling. These shorts fit great & are well made.They have just enough padding front & back: from the back there is no bulging padding, but they're comfortable on the bike. From the front they are snug so everything is kept nicely in place to avoid chafing, but they don't let everyone know your religion...I'm not a fan of loose or oversized running gear, and I like to keep my kit to a minimum, so typically I'm in lycra/spandex bike shorts, which can be problematic in the modesty department. These shorts don't have that problem. They are comfortable, minimal, functional & good looking. Very happy with my purchase & just ordered another pair.

Great Tri Short
Used them for an Int'l distance Tri, felt great. Used then for a long ride (75 miles) without any issues. Surprisingly comforatble on the bike, despite not having a lot of padding, which, given they are tri shorts, is to be expected (the lack of padding that is). Overall, a good fit, nice compresion and comfort. Wish they had pockets on the outside, towards the back for a gel pack. Other than that, no complaints.

Great support for lower back
I was hunting for a compression shorts that will provide support to my lower back, as I have disc prolapse on 3 of the discs on my lower back (L3/L4, L4/L5, L5/S1).I have been doing 5 to 10 miles runs and I am training to do beyond that mileage, but I wanted something to support my lower back so that my back would not hurt with the longer run and longer exposure to pressure.CW-X is the only compression shorts that is targeting the lower back and it does so effectively. I enjoy my longer runs much better and it is enabling me to do longer runs. By the way it not only support the lower back but also the core muscles effectively.Highly recommended.

I really like these shorts. They provide compression support and are quality made. Need to make sure you order the correct size. Look for the sizing chart before ordering. The length of the shorts run a little long. I didn't have a problem, but if you are short legged between your waist and knees you may have a problem. The price was great and I would recommend these shorts.
