Hubby loves it
I bought this for my husband based on the reviews that said they got the L/XL and it was "too big". I assumed they didn't have a L/XL head, so they shouldn't be complaining about the hat's size when they don't even know the size of their heads (what's an "average head"?).My husband wears an XL in hats, and he needed an XL running hat that covered his ears so I bought him this... He reports that it's perfect. It covers his ears and forehead perfectly, doesn't fit tight, and he loves it so much that uses it all the time for running. He evens uses it as a regular beanie when it's not too cold by folding the ear band both when running and just for lounging around. I highly recommend this beanie if you know the right size to get.

best pair of running shoes my husband has owned
After going through two pairs of Nike Frees, my husband was ready to try something new. While his original pair of 7.0 Frees lasted for several years and were superb, his second pair of Frees began deteriorating (parts of the sole peeling away) after only a few months and they never really seemed to fit comfortably (despite getting them sized for him). He was interested in the Vibrams and Inov8 shoes, but the designs were a little too much and they seemed to have as many supporters as opposers. He liked the New Balance Minimus line, but the MT10's seemed to have a lot of issues, particularly with the tight toe band.Enter the MT20. He decided to take the plunge on this updated model, and has been thoroughly impressed since day one. Here is what he would like to share about the shoe:1) Lightweight but sturdy: Out of the box the shoe is incredibly light and the Vibram sole construction is top notch. Despite being a minimal design, these feel sturdy and the... Top to learn more
Great Shoe
I was never a fan of the barefoot idea until I did my research. I tried this type and not the five toe shoe one because, I really don't like having my toes touched to begin with, and the idea of a shoe sperating my toes was not inviting and the thought was uncomfortable.I am active duty and the Army just banned the wear of the five toe shoes while wearing an Army PT uniform. With this shoe I can still wear it with a pair of thin socks without discomfort. I did go with a .5 size larger going from a 10 to 10 1/2 just to have room for a thin pair of socks. The shoe feels awesome on the treadmill and on pavement, I ran 2 miles my first try and my calf's weren't killing me the next day. It has plenty of room for your toes to stretch and the rest of the shoe fits nice and snogged. Walking over gravel feels the way it would barefoot, you can feel every rock, but when you run on hard floor, amazingly my feet feel "NO" discomfort, and this is coming from a guy with 12 years active duty,... Simply awesome
This is a major breakthrough in footwear. I have been using five fingers for the past year and they are great, but not very versatile stylistically. I can where these with a pair of shorts or jeans just fine and not get a single look, whereas I'd be getting stared at in the five fingers. These offer a little more support which makes me more comfortable using them on trails, and even biking! These are the best biking shoes I own. I have never liked clip-in bike shoes, and these are perfect. Really allow me to dig into the pedal and offer great traction. These shoes can do it all.One huge plus for some people will be that they actually feel LESS restrictive around the toes than five fingers, which kind of make my toes feel stiff due to the material separating them. There is plenty of room in these shoes to allow full motion with the toes. I can't wait to see what new balance does with the zero drop minimus coming in the next 6 months or so. But for now, these are awesome. I... Top to learn more

New Balance WT20 Shoes
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE SHOES!!!Even though I'm no shoe or sneaker expert, I've purchased a fair share of them in my lifetime. I've never written a review for any shoes before now. I suppose it's because I've owned Converse, Puma, Nike and many other New Balance shoes before, but NONE even come close to the New Balance WT20 Trail Minimus shoes. Certainly these are the most comfortable sneakers I've ever worn, even though I've only owned them for exactly one week. I wish these shoes would've been available while I was in Army basic training.Pros: Weight: very light shoe without compromising durability or support. Traction: Walking or running, traction is pretty nice. Fit: very comfortable, breathable material, cushions feet without crowding, also provides arch support. In my experience, low profile New Balance shoes can sometimes run a bit more narrow than usual so I purchased this shoe in WIDE. I'm very glad that I did. Sole: Cushions the impact while walking or... Top to learn more

Felt great right out of the box-even without socks
First pair of shoes (athletic or otherwise) I have purchased that I've had no blisters or rubbing the first time I've worn them. I'm new to minimalist running so I only ran a mile in them and walked a mile-however that was enough to sell me on them. I have heard there's a band that cases them to run narrow-I have narrow feet so I can see how that might bother someone. One of the shoelaces was frayed but a five minute call to New Balance and they had replacements in the mail-not a minus for the shoe but a big plus to New Balance customer service. The are a little more light dove gray than white-they seem a lot brighter in the picture. I like the actual color better.Hopefully more experienced minimalist runners will also rate these, however for me they feel fantastic. I could have ran five miles in them, no problem! You really need to take it slowly and use these shoes for off road. I felt fine after a couple of runs but then went for a longer run on some hard surfaces and got achilles tendonitis. I have gone back to old shoes for a while. I would suggest using them in conjunction with your regular shoes. Use for short periods at a time increasing the use very slowly and keeping to soft surfaces. Your muscles need plenty of time to adjust. The shoes themselves seem great but being so light I wonder how durable they will be. They are comfortable and fit my narrow feet nice a snuggly:) Top to learn more

Product Description
The New Balance 1770 is packed with cutting-edge technologies, from its featherweight REVlite cushioning to the luxurious no-sew welded upper. N-ergy shock absorption extends beyond the crash pad into the midfoot to accommodate not only traditional heel strike runners, but also those who land on the midfoot. EXTREMELY Comfortable!
These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I've been running in these for a few months now and they still feel fantastic. My feet feel great even after a vigorous run. Even though the rest of my body is exhausted, my feet still feel great. They fit my feet perfectly and I couldn't be happier.I suggest you do some research and find the right kind of running shoe for your feet though, as they are all designed with specific feet in mind. These shoes actually make me WANT to run. Comfort Galore if you're a runner with a Neutral Foot!
I purchased the ProGrid Ride 3 shoes to replace my worn ProGrid Ride 2 shoes, and WOW what a difference. First off, I knew I'd experience a better run since my old shoes were... well... old and worn out. I was starting to get some leg fatigue after about 13 minutes into my run. With the old shoes, the fit was very good, and the comfort was good, but not great. I enjoyed running in the shoes, but would occasionally experience a little difficulty in how they fit my foot. With the updated model, I have to say I'm ecstatic about my runs. I find myself having absolutely no fatigue even as I'm approaching 60 minutes at a steady 6 mph pace. It's like running on a cushion of foam! Note, these are designed for people with a neutral gate. If you don't know what that means, your gate identifies how your foot touches the ground while you're walking... with a high arch, flat foot, or neutral. This determines the best type of shoe to provide the most comfort. Go to a running shoe store... Top to learn more

The Pearl Izumi Fly Jacket ($110) has become my go-to jacket for runs in temperatures 35 degrees and under (coldest run so far was two degrees) and I have yet to find a weak point of this jacket. In my past, running in the winter time always meant piling on the layers of cheap race shirts underneath a windbreaker of some sort and making sure that my loops didn’t end with a run into the wind causing my sweat to freeze. These 30-50 mph Chinook winds combined with a few mornings close to zero degrees and some sideways snow and I’ve had a pretty good apparel testing laboratory. Since Punxsutawny Phil saw his shadow this year many of us across the nation will be in for a longer winter, and because I’m a huge believer in rodent weather predictions, I am sharing with you two items that have made my winter running much more... I started my run and noticed that the P. R. O. Thermal fabric had not absorbed any of the water and I was warm and cozy running into an eight-degree windchill with only a thin long-sleeve base layer underneath. I also tried out the Fly Softshell on warmer days with morning temps in the mid-30s and noticed that, while I was sweating under the jacket in just a tech t-shirt, the jacket did not absorb much of this sweat and when I turned into a stiff wind... The cut of the jacket also facilitates raising my arms over my head and not having the jacket creep up which would make it perfect for almost any winter activity. Now, winter on Colorado’s Front Range doesn’t have the same bite, but it has thrown one extreme variable my way in this winter’s pre-dawn darkness…wind.
